I heart burned out transmission garages

On May 22, 2013 United Transmission on Marietta Street burned furiously after 30 years of operation. The owner and his employees watched with heavy hearts.

Recently I found my way inside what remains of this building and tiptoed amongst the charred rubble.  The blue Mustang peaking out of the garage seen in photo #5 in the link above is still inside. Today it appears magnanimous - and it's jeweled tone luminescent beneath the scorched beams.

Please visit the entire gallery for more images: as a teaser, I love the yellow giant looming outside the back of the building like a dinosaur waiting to hunt - so regal amid such devastation.
